Cathedral Reserve, Mt Wilson, is lovely spot to camp or picnic just out side the village of Mt Wilson. Basic facilities like bins, toilets and fire pits are provided. How ever bring your own wood and toilet paper. When you first pull into the camp ground it looks as if it is just an open grassed area by the road side, but behind the tree line backing onto forest is a flat shaded grassed under beautiful old gums. There is a short hike from the site to the Cathedral of Ferns for the nature lovers. Quite the hidden gem.
