Wheeny Creek, Wollemi National Park is on the eastern side of the Blue Mountains near the Colo River close to Sydney. The site is on a small clear creek, surrounded by tall gums and lush ferns set deep in a beautiful valley. The site has few facilities but toilets and fire rings are supplied. The surrounding national park provides ample opportunities for outdoor pursuits and the site is a good place to set up base camp.

Getting there: Off Bells of line Rd at Kurrajong, take Comleroy Rd about 20km out to camp ground. The road is mostly sealed up to the descent into the valley.
