Noonons Flat, Howqua Hills Historic Area, is a large grassed area with some shady areas on the Howqua River just east of Davons Camp areas. Great space for large groups. Popular with 4WD, trail biking and horse riders. Good for tent and trailer camping. Relatively easy to get to but may become difficult for conventional vehicles during wet weather. Site is FREE and Pet Friendly. The camp area has a private hut on site.

Getting there: From the Mt Buller Tourist Rd take Grammer School Rd at Merijig (Halfway between Mansfield and Mt Buller). This gravel road becomes Howqua Track and will take you out to the Sheepyard Flat camp area. From here take Brocks Rd east out to the well sign campsite. Note: Access may be difficult by conventional vehicle during wet weather.
