Frys Flat, Howqua Hills Historic Area is a large grassed area on the site of the historic Frys Hut. It is set in a timbered valley by the Howqua river making this a geat spot to relax, fish and swim. It is also popular spot with dirt bike and horse riders and is a designated horse camping area. This FREE site is only accessible by 4WD with off road trailers. The site is Pet Friendly.

Getting there: From the Mt Buller Tourist Rd take Grammer School Rd at Merijig (Halfway between Mansfield and Mt Buller). This gravel road becomes Howqua Track and will take you out to Sheepyard Flat Camp Area. From this camp ground the track on the right out to the signed Fry's Flat Camping Area.
