The Broadwater - Sundown National Park, is made up of 12 well shaded individual sites along the banks of the Severn River. There is also a area for larger groups at the beginning of the camp area. The campground has an information shelter, toilets and bush showers with donkey heater (boil your own water). There are walking tracks from the campground out to a permanent water hole, which is handy when the Severn River drys up during drought.
Note: Caravans longer than 4 m will not fit across the small bridge leading to the campground.

Getting there: From Stanthorpe take the Stanthorpe Texas Rd west til it forks into the Glenlyon Dam Rd. Follow this out to the signed Sundown National Park entrance. The campground is about 81 Km from Stanthorpe. Note: The site may be difficult to reach in a conventional vehicle or with a caravan after a major rain event. Caravans longer than 4 m will not fit across the small bridge leading to the campground.
