The Settlement, Springbrook, is set in the iconic Gold Coast hinterland and is described as the green behind the gold. It's the perfect location to explore the surrounding Springbrook Plateau. Choose a hike to one of the many amazing lookouts, and see waterfalls spill hundreds of feet into deep canyon rock pools. Or take a walk on a misty mountain top through ancient forests and discover arctic beech trees which have stood for thousands of years. Whatever you want to do, The Settlement is only a short walk or drive to all the plateau's attractions.
The site itself is a series of well protected grassed areas with a spot to park your vehicle. There is a camp kitchen on site with BBQ facilities and a picnic area. The site itself, though pleasant, doesn't really have a great deal to offer apart from a place to sleep and eat. But given the beauty of the surrounding area, you won't be sitting by your tent. Open fires are not permitted.
