Lake Catani, Mt Buffalo is a beautiful campground set in Snow Gum woodlandson the banks of the lake. The sites are disperesed through the wood land and are numbered. Some sites are suitable for small caravans and trailers but most are suitable for tent camping.
The site has fantastic facilities including toilets, hot showers, dish washing and a basic laundry (no washing machines) and a separate disabled hot shower and toilet is also available. There is also a communal stone shelter with tables and fireplaces located adjacent the amenities building.
Camping is available from Melbourne Cup Weekend (beginning of November) to April inclusive. Bookings are essential. A beautiful place to set up base and explore Mt Buffalo and it's beautiful waterfalls, stone monoliths and forest trails.

Getting there: At Porepunkah south of Myrtleford, north of Bright, take Mt Buffalo Road up Mt Buffalo. Follow the signs out to Lake Catani and the camp ground.
