Elliot River, Guthalungra, North of Bowen is a small privately run caravan and camping area on the far side of the small hut settlement. The are no facilities so campers need to be self sufficient. There are no fire pits but camp fires are allowed under the right conditions. A popular spot for boating fishing crabbing and nature watching.
The site welcomes donations and pets are allowed with conditions.

Getting there: At Guthalungra, turn right 100 meters before the bridge/ roadhouse and take Wally Sproute Rd 6km out to the Elliot River Village. Camping and Caravan Area is on the far side of the settlement.
