Glenlyon Dam Tourist Park, Glenlyon Lake is 106km South West of Stanthorpe Qld or 68km west of Tenterfield, NSW. A popular spot for watersports and fishing.

Glenlyon Dam Tourist Park, Glenlyon Lake, is a great spot for those families into water sports and fishing. The Park has laundry facilities, a kiosk, toilets, warm showers, BBQ's, powered and unpowered sites,boat hire, ice and fuel, all on site. The Lake is full of perch and Murray Cod for the anglers amongst other species, and the dam is popular for water skiing as there are no boating restrictions.

This is a commercial tourist park so it's hardly bush camping, but with all the roos and bird life you'll definitely get that country feeling.

Getting there: You can either take the New England South from Stanthope and then take the Bruxner Hwy west out to the Dam following the signs. This is about 106km and just over an hour. Alternatively you can take The Stanthorpe Texas Rd South West, then turn left onto Glenlyon Dam Rd.
