Strachans Camping Area, Grampians National Park is a well maintained area with designated camp sites as well as fire pits. The camp ground is good for tent based camping and has basic toilet facilities. Great place to explore the National Park's pioneer and aboriginal history from. Not suitable for camper trailers or caravans. Booking is required.

Getting there: From the West: 21km north of Cavendish on the Henty Hwy, take Woohlpooer Rd on the right. The turn right after a short distance onto Glenelg River Rd. Follow this out to the site. Site is signed at the Junction of Sawmill Track and Glenelg River Rd.

From the South: From Dunkeld take Victoria Valley Rd north. After 15 - 20km turn left onto Victoria Point Rd then right onto Bullawin Rd and follow out to Glenelg River Rd. Turn right and follow this out to the site. Site is signed at the Junction of Sawmill Track and Glenelg River Rd.
