Frog Buttress, Mt French National Park, is a small shaded camp area with designated sites for tent based camping, a popular site for mountian climbers, hikers and nature lovers.

Frog Buttress, Mt French National Park, is a small shaded camp area with designated sites for tent based camping a short walk from the carpark. Facilities include toilet, wood fired BBQ and pinic areas. Mt french is a popular site for mountian climbers, hikers and nature lovers.

Though this is a tent based camp ground there a several parking spots for trailers in the car park.

Cost:

Fees for camping permits in national parks and other protected areas, forest reserves, State forests and recreation areas, from 1 July 2017:

  • $6.35 per person per night, or $25.40 per family per night;
  • $3.50 per person per night for students and accompanying adults on approved educational excursions.
  • $25.40 per night per family. 1 or 2 adults, accompanied by 3 to 6 children under 18 year applies to a maximum of 8 people in total. Children under 5 years free of charge.
