Dangars Gorge, Oxley Wild Rivers National Park, is located high on the escarpment above the massive gorge falls. It's a small campground with adequate shade and an abundance of bird and wild life, especially Kangaroo and wallabies. There is a wealth of historical information about the area at the amazing look outs dotted around the gorge, and on the walls of the well protected camp kitchen.
Dangars Gorge is a great spot for hiking and site seeing. Bring the binoculars and camera for this one.

Getting There: From Armidale take Dangarsleigh Road South about 5km. From here turn left Into Dangars Falls Rd and take it out to the campground. This is mostly unsealed road for 15km. -30.674492, 151.724968
