Racecourse Beach, Goolawah National Park, sits protected behind miles of open surf beach. It has facilities including covered picnic area, toilets and cold showers. The site is mostly grassed but provides little shade so come prepared. If you like outdoor activities by the sea this is the spot for you. Unfortunately this site is not pet friendly, however the nearby Delicate Beach is. For more information on Delicate Beach see Related items below.

Cost: Daily rate: $24 per site per night (2-person inclusive). $12 per additional adult (16+ years). $6 per child (5-15 years). Cash only.  Bookings are not available for this campground. Park entry fees apply, $8 per vehicle per day.

Getting there: From Kempsey take Crescent Head Road out to the village of Crescent Head. Once at Crescent Head village, take a right turn in to Baker Dr which becomes Point Plomer Road a short distance from the town.
