Frying Pan Creek, is located in the Telegherry River Section of Chincester State Forest. Its a long grassed area with some shaded posts running along the bank of Frying Pan creek. The surrounding forest is the perfect play ground for mt biking, motor biking, horse riding, 4WDing and hiking. The creek provides the perfect spot to come back too for that dip in a cool mountain pool. Great spot for the whole mob including the dog. Coachwood camp ground sites on the other side of the creek and provides similar amenities and atmosphere.

Getting there: From the town of Dungog take Dungog Rd and continue until it becomes Stroud Hill Rd . After about 4km turn left onto Monkerai Rd.
After 2km take a slight left onto Main Creek Rd about 9km and continue onto Skimmings Gap Rd. Continue onto Frying Pan Rd (Unsealed) and follow this out to the sign posted campsite. Frying Pan Creek campground is on the opposite side of the creek from Coachwood.
It is advised that this site is only accessible by 4WD during periods of heavy rain.
