Emu Creek Camp Area, Benarkin State Forest is a large campground perfect for tent and trailer based camping. Plenty of shade to kick back in and watch the rock wallabies bounce about the cliff on the far side of the creek. The state forest provides opportunities for some relatively easy off road adventures. The site has great facilities for bush camping including flushing toilets and cold showers. Wet weather access may prove difficult for caravans and standard vehicles during wet weather. The site is pay to stay, and not pet friendly, however the nearby Clancy's camp area is pet friendly.
