Italian Flat, Dargo River, is a large flat, well shaded, grassed area perfect for trailers and tent based camping on the river. The river provides a great spot for fishing or swimming. A nice place to sit back and take in the surrounding forest hills a short drive north from Dargo. Access by 4WD is recommended especially during wet periods.
The site is FREE and Pet Friendly.

Getting there: From Dargo take the Dargo High Plains Rd north a short distance then turn right onto upper Dargo Rd. Follow out to the well signed campground a short distance north of 2 mile creek camping area. Access by 4WD is recommended especially during wet periods.
